Young adults face many challenges as they attempt to carve out a place for themselves
in the world. Therapy can help you sort through the confusion and perhaps enable you to make
decisions
for yourself.
My approach is interpersonal, meaning that, through our relationship, I help
you
deepen your
understanding of yourself—your wants, needs, and expectations. This also means
that I do not
give advice, per se, although some psychoeducation may be part of our time together.
Our therapy sessions will be collaborative; nevertheless, you will decide which issues are most
important for you.
Mindfulness (how to live in and enjoy the present) will also be woven into our goal.
